Job Summary
We are looking for a confident and engaging E-Beauty Advisor / Beauty Livestream Host to serve as the dynamic face of our beauty brands during live-streaming shopping sessions.
You will be responsible for engaging online audiences, showcasing product benefits and supporting immediate e-commerce conversions by combining entertainment, beauty expertise and strong salesmanship in real time.
The role will also serve as a local ambassador of the brand across key social platforms by delivering always-on livestream content and supporting wider brand content initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the local ambassador of the brand on key social platforms by delivering always-on livestream content.
- Host engaging livestream sessions that showcase beauty products, communicate product benefits and support e-commerce conversions.
- Respond to viewers comments and questions and recommend relevant actions or products.
- Demonstrate the customer purchase journey and create a cheerful and engaging livestream atmosphere.
- Monitor real-time livestream performance and recommend appropriate actions.
- Control the pace and flow of livestream sessions in collaboration with the Livestream Lead.
- Support the Livestream Lead in script curation and implementation during brand livestreams.
- Prepare and ensure that the livestream room set-up reflects the brand activation and campaign calendar.
- Participate in technical dry runs and content rehearsals before livestream sessions.
- Ensure personal appearance and presentation represent the codes of the brands.
- Support the Content & Advocacy Manager on brand thematic campaigns, hero-product content, visuals and assets.
- Keep up to date with beauty, social media and e-commerce trends to better engage online consumers.
Job Requirements & Nice to Have
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Business, E-Commerce, Beauty or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in livestream hosting, live selling, digital content creation, beauty retail, e-commerce or a related customer-facing role.
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation and public-speaking skills.
- Confident and comfortable presenting and demonstrating products in front of a camera.
- Natural ability to captivate, communicate with and engage an online audience.
- Strong passion for beauty and current beauty trends.
- Sales-oriented with an interest in e-commerce and online consumer behaviour.
- Highly adaptable and quick-thinking, with the ability to respond to live comments and questions smoothly.
- Able to work effectively under pressure in a real-time livestream environment.
- Flexible to work variable schedules when required, including evenings, weekends and major e-commerce shopping campaigns such as Double Days, 11.11 and Mid-Year Sales.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience hosting beauty, skincare, cosmetics, fashion or lifestyle livestreams.
- Experience in Beauty Advisor, Beauty Consultant, retail beauty or customer-facing sales roles.
- Exposure to livestream sales, social commerce or e-commerce environments.
- Experience working with livestream scripts, product demonstrations or promotional campaigns.
- Previous involvement in social media content creation or brand content.
- Understanding of livestream performance indicators, audience engagement and online conversion.
