Company Description

The ABA Project, founded in 2019, began as a home-based ABA service provider and transitioned to a center-based location in Malaysia in 2022 to serve a larger neurodiverse population. We are dedicated to providing high-quality services with programs formulated by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) based on extensive research and assessments. We believe in parental involvement to promote the generalization and maintenance of acquired skills, offering intensive parent training for parents to teach their neurodiverse children at home. Our mission is to guide the neurodiverse population to achieve their highest potential through evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) services, and to support families on their journey from isolation to connection.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Behavioral Therapist located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Behavioral Therapist will be responsible for conducting behavior assessments, implementing individualized treatment plans, and using ABA techniques to work with children. Day-to-day tasks will include collecting data, monitoring progress, and collaborating with a team of professionals to ensure the success of each learner. Additional responsibilities include providing support and training to parents and caregivers.

Compulsory Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Driving License and Car required

Higher advantage for candidates who:

  • Has a certification in MCBA, BACB or QABA
  • Ability to fluently converse, read and write reports in mandarin and cantonese (We currently have clients who requested for therapy to be conducted in mandarin and cantonese).
