Summary
Ensure product machining meets specification and customer's quality expectation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
- Using a variety of bending machines, including manual and CNC machines, to form metal sheets and components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Carrying out various metal fabrication tasks, including bending, rolling, and forming, as needed.
- Preparing the bending machine for production by setting up dies, adjusting pressure, and making other necessary adjustments
- Inspecting the finished bent parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
- Identifying and resolving minor machine issues, and reporting more serious problems to maintenance personnel.
- Maintain 5S for own work cell area.
- Operate equipment and machine per work-instruction and safety requirement.
- Perform own self-quality check on product been produced.
- Meet personal output target and yield target.
- Perform equipment and machine health and setup check at start of shift. Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Ensure correct, good quality products are only allowed to leave manufacturing to be shipped to customer.
- Participate in quality improvement project.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- SPM holder or Certificate in Machining.
- Minimum 3 years experience in handling bending machines and sheet metal operations.
- Medical device experience is added advantage.
