What You Will Do
- Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate invoices, billing documents, rebates, and customer claim credits in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with SLAs
- Accounts Receivable & Collections: Manage receivables, perform aging analysis, proactively follow up on overdue accounts, and maintain clean balances for effective customer account management
- Order & Credit Support: Support order block and release activities and collaborate with the credit team on customer assessments and risk management
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, best practices, and proper procedures in billing and collection processes
- System & Process Management: Monitor and resolve system errors, work with IT, participate in system testing and feature implementations, and maintain SOPs and documentation
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders and external customers to resolve issues and support UPM projects across APAC
- Process Improvement: Contribute to Lead to Cash process initiatives, share ideas, and drive efficiencies in billing, collection, and related tools
- Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Perform any additional tasks assigned by the team lead or manager to support business objectives
Who You Are
- You have a bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- You have minimum 3 years experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable in a multinational environment (APAC experience preferred)
- You have strong knowledge of end-to-end Order to Cash processes
- You have proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Office
- You have fluent verbal and written English skills; additional language skills (eg: Hindi) are an advantage
- You possess strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and consistently meet deadlines
- You are a team player with a collaborative mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment
- You are able to work on Malaysia public holidays
