BIM Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee BIM implementation across consultants and contractors to ensure alignment with developer project objectives, design intent, and delivery requirements.
• Aggregate architectural, structural, and MEP models into a federated model for overall project coordination, design validation, and spatial planning review.
• Conduct clash detection using BIM tools (e.g., Navisworks, Solibri) and drive resolution with consultants and contractors prior to construction works.
• Review and validate BIM submissions from consultants to ensure compliance with Employer's Information Requirements (EIR), BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and project standards.
• Manage BIM workflows within a Common Data Environment (CDE) such as BIM 360 or ProjectWise to ensure controlled information exchange and data integrity.
• Support developer project teams in monitoring design coordination, authority submissions, and construction readiness through BIM-based reviews.
• Ensure BIM deliverables align with project milestones, cost control requirements, and development timelines.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory and submission requirements.
• Prepare BIM coordination reports, design issue logs, and progress updates for developer management reporting.
• Support digital construction strategy, including 4D scheduling and 5D cost integration where required.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in BIM coordination, BIM modelling, or digital construction within property developer, consultancy, main contractor, or design-and-build environments.
• Experience handling high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale development projects will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experiences in structural systems, architectural detailing, and MEP services integration (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical).
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination processes, construction sequencing, and multidisciplinary project coordination.
• Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Ability to conduct clash detection, model audits, coordination reviews, and technical issue tracking independently.
• Good understanding of building systems, construction methodologies, authority submission processes, and project delivery requirements.
