BIM Manager (Structure)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management:

• Lead and manage the structural team in the use of BIM technologies and processes.
• Oversee project deliverables and ensure they meet BIM standards and company objectives.
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members on BIM best practices.

1. BIM Implementation and Strategy:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive BIM strategy that aligns with the company's goals.
• Establish and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and protocols.
• Ensure the effective use of BIM tools across all architectural projects.

1. Project Coordination and Collaboration:

• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., engineering, construction) to integrate BIM processes and models.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings to review project progress and resolve issues.
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and innovation.

1. Quality Assurance and Control:

• Perform quality checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures for BIM data.
• Ensure consistency in BIM deliverables across all projects.

1. Training and Development:

• Conduct BIM training sessions for new and existing team members.
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and trends and disseminate this knowledge to the team.
• Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team.

1. Technology and Innovation:

• Evaluate and recommend new BIM tools, software, and technologies to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to integrate advanced technologies such as VR/AR, 4D/5D BIM, and other digital construction methodologies.
• Drive innovation in BIM processes to improve project outcomes.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain documentation related to BIM processes, standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Prepare reports on BIM progress, performance metrics, and project milestones.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders on BIM-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civill/ Structure Engineering, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture with a focus on BIM management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
