Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler / BIM Coordinator to support project delivery through high-quality BIM modeling, coordination, and technical documentation. The role involves developing and managing BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP systems, coordinating across disciplines, resolving clashes, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and relevant standards. Experience in façade or curtain wall projects will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. BIM Modeling and Coordination
- Develop, update, and manage BIM models using Revit for architectural, structural, and MEP works.
- Ensure models comply with project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
- Carry out clash detection and coordinate the resolution of design conflicts using tools such as Navisworks or Solibri.
- Use Rhino and related tools for complex parametric modeling and detailed fabrication drawings, especially for curtain wall systems.
2. Technical Documentation
- Prepare construction drawings, schedules, and material take-offs based on BIM models.
- Generate coordination reports, model updates, and technical documentation for internal teams and project stakeholders.
3. Project Coordination and Collaboration
- Lead BIM coordination meetings with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Coordinate between design and site teams to ensure smooth communication and accurate data exchange.
- Support project teams in resolving technical and coordination issues efficiently.
4. Quality Control and Compliance
- Review and validate model accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project BIM standards and execution plans.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and requirements, including Singapore BCA standards where applicable.
5. Process Improvement and Innovation
- Implement BIM best practices to improve workflow efficiency and model quality.
- Explore and apply advanced tools such as Dynamo and Enscape for automation, visualization, and process enhancement.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of BIM experience, preferably in architectural or curtain wall / façade-related projects.
- Experience in Singapore projects or international project environments will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Revit and Rhino with Grasshopper.
- Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 collaboration tools.
- Good understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination, and technical documentation.
Language
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for communication with clients, consultants, and project teams.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Team player with strong communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Autodesk Revit Certified Professional or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of green building standards, such as BCA Green Mark.
- Experience in point cloud scanning and 4D/5D BIM simulation is an advantage
