Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, review, and manage PCBA BOMs based on schematics, Gerber files, and design documentation.
  • Ensure BOM accuracy by verifying component specifications, part numbers, and manufacturer data.
  • Coordinate with design engineers to align BOM with PCB layouts and schematics.
  • Interface with procurement and suppliers to confirm component availability, lead times, and cost.
  • Maintain BOM versions and changes using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools or ERP systems.
  • Perform cross-checks for alternates, obsolete parts, and recommend replacements.
  • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) by generating and updating BOMs for prototype and pilot builds.
  • Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to resolve component-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, and other regulatory standards

Qualifications

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in process engineering and analysic BOM
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and PCBA design principles.
  • Experience with BOM management tools, PLM/ERP systems (e.g.,SAP).
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design software (e.g., Altium, OrCAD).
  • Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
  • Good communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities.
  • Can read and understand technical document/technical drawing.
