You are THE Guerlain Ambassador. You will lead and develop the store team through inspiring hands-on management and coaching. You will manage and coach your team into building sustainable Client relationships, ensuring that every Client is treated according to Guerlain standards.
As a key responsibility of this role, you will be required to identify and analyze various business opportunities that align with our strategic goals. This entails conducting thorough market research to uncover trends, gauge customer demand, and evaluate competitor activities. By leveraging analytical tools and techniques, you will systematically assess potential avenues for growth and sustainability within our market. You will be directly accountable for developing the business and monitoring your store's operations and budget.
TEAM MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT:
- Develop team members to ensure they deliver the Guerlain service to every Client, through demonstrating and modelling the Dare to Be program. Support them with consistent coaching, identify their development and training needs, and those of their team, partner with Field Coach Trainer to tailor individual action plans,
- Identify, recruit and develop talents, secure succession plans,
- Organize the team in an efficient manner according to business needs and delegate responsibility,
- Translate strategic and business goals into concrete and individual actions and objectives,
- Set achievable yet challenging team and individual targets for the store; assess, monitor and manage performance to ensure these goals are achieved,
- Manage and motivate the team to drive the business: create positive work environment, empower the team, encourage innovative solution
CLIENT AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
- Ensure achievement of monthly Boutique sales targets set by Retail Manager
- Plan and disseminate targets to team members and monitor daily/weekly achievement rate,
- Monitor retail KPI of each team member and work towards increasing each component with Retail Manager input,
- Lead and develop the business of the store, by cultivating a comprehensive and strategic understanding of it and relating to all relevant stakeholders,
- Maximize the potential of all product categories and universes carried in the store, capitalizing on all available support (visual merchandising, training, client telling, events etc.) and fostering synergies between categories,
- Build a loyal Clientele, leveraging all client telling tools,
- Establish a client-centric mindset in store to ensure the highest level of customer experienced and achieve client repurchase objectives
- Be the voice of the store in your country by understanding business and local market to suggest actions and recommendations,
- Be aware of the competitive landscape and market trends,
ROLE MODEL ON SELLING AND FLOOR MANAGEMENT:
- Lead by example on the floor, understand the client's needs, identify potential areas of improvement and cultivate a feel for the market trends,
- Ensure business opportunities are maximized through efficient sales floor management, being a visible presence and support as well as ensuring Guerlain standards are achieved,
- Provide consistent and qualitative feedback, coach team members on the spot
- To share monthly replenishment order according to present / future business needs to RM for approval,
- To manage tester replenishment order according to current SOH and future needs,
- To review on a monthly basis counter needs such as: Art of Gifting, Blottersetc and share to SRM consolidated order,
- To monitor SOH at counter level with support of SRM and Commercial Executive,
- Review all the member commissions and incentives on monthly basis and share to RM for approval
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent level of education in relevant field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in retail, sales or FMCG industry
- Sales driven and proactive, enjoy operating in the fast-paced retail environment
- People oriented and is a team player with a positive mindset and pleasant disposition
- Well-organized and committed to accuracy at all levels of details, with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work retail shifts on weekends and public holidays
- Fluent in both oral and written communication skills
- Adequate computer literacy and proficient with Excel and ability to read and reply emails
