As we continue to grow in Malaysia, we are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager / Branch Controller to oversee our Distribution Center (DC) and warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in all logistical processes.
Role Overview
As a Branch Controller, you will be responsible for managing ParagonCorp's distribution centre and warehouse operations in Malaysia. This role ensures smooth day-to-day warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution processes while leading a team to meet operational targets. You will also act as the branch controller, maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of DC and warehouses, ensuring timely receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, train, and motivate the warehouse team to achieve operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs, including order fulfillment, lead time, and stock movement.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Sales, and Trade Marketing teams to meet distribution requirements.
- Manage warehouse budgets, equipment, and resources efficiently.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
- Handle vendor relations for warehouse services, transport, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting for all warehouse operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in warehouse or distribution management, preferably in FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Experience in leading teams, coaching, and managing performance.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to solve operational issues effectively.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of SAP, ERP/WMS systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements in warehouse operations.
