Position Summary
The Brand Innovation Executive (Incontinence Care) is responsible for identifying consumer insights and growth opportunities, driving innovation projects across Southeast Asia, and supporting the development and execution of brand strategies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role helps deliver impactful initiatives that strengthen brand equity, enhance customer experience, increase market share, and support sustainable business growth.
Working Location: Vinda SEA HQ (Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang, next to Setia Alam)
You will play an important role to:
1) Consumer Analysis
- Ensure relevance of executions on brand platform and brand equity development.
- Assist in developing and defining, research plans to build consumer understanding, seek clarity on current challenges, identify future innovation directions, etc.
2) Competitive Analysis
- Collate regional competitor trends and forecast of competitor activities, include competitor's product, branding, communication, and marketing strategies.
- Update and track regional competitive brands with in-marketing leads and coordinate with R&D.
3) Brand Management
- Execution of brand strategies and ensure brand expression guidelines are executed in-line with the brand platform.
- Ensure consistent brand executions across the region(s).
- Assist in developing product marketing strategies (persuasive communication, pricing, packaging, product launching).
4) Strategic Innovation Planning
- Support the Marketing Innovation Manager/Brand Innovation Manager in crafting the 5 years innovation funnel for all categories.
- Participate and support the implementation of ideation session/ workshops to align products, packaging, communications and promotions to the brand platform, business objectives and market needs.
5) Product/ Brand/ Category Launches and Relaunches
- Assist project manager to the assigned innovation projects and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcome.
- Ensure pack design are executed in-line with the pack guidelines to ensure consistent brand across the region
- Assist in enhancement of overall aesthetic and design features of the product and packaging to meet the Project deliverables as well as all artwork proofreading.
- Collect data and analyze post launches assessment.
- Assist in analyzing if the product proposition meets consumers expectation
- Assist in analyzing product, pricing, distribution (plan vs actual)
- Assist in analyzing relevance of brand and marketing strategy (plan vs actual)
- Assist in commercial roll out for launches/relaunches.
6) Annual Strategic Direction
- Support in the development and delivery of annual view to individual markets covering: -
- Competitive landscape (covers all 7Ps)
- Review on past executions against brand platform and brand expression guideline
7) Budget - Responsible for category budget monitoring/ tracking.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
- At least 1-2 years working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a marketing and/or brand/product management. Knowledge of basic Trade Marketing is an added value.
- Exposed to marketing/brand role within FMCG/MNC industry is an added advantage
- Exposure in working in partnerships with external agencies.
