Job Description
Support the development of the annual brand strategy for the Malaysian market based on the overall brand objectives and local consumer insights. This includes planning the yearly brand activity calendar, brand content development, media collaboration, and cross-channel integration plans.
Develop go-to-market strategies for product launches, plan and execute new product campaigns, and drive the implementation of integrated marketing projects across Southeast Asia to achieve both brand and business goals.
Oversee brand image planning and implementation, including copywriting, visual ideation, and campaign development aligned with marketing strategies, product positioning, and key selling points.
Support content marketing initiatives, manage influencer development and partnerships on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, analyze market and consumer insights, and adjust content strategies accordingly.
Collect and analyze market intelligence including Malaysian consumer preferences, innovative marketing best practices across industries, and competitor marketing activities, providing actionable reports to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
Major is open; a background in Marketing, English, Communications, International Business, or Finance is preferred.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken); Malay (Bahasa Malaysia) proficiency is a plus. Strong cross-cultural communication skills are required.
4+ years of experience in brand marketing or integrated marketing communications, with proven skills in brand strategy and execution.
Passionate about Malaysian and Southeast Asian culture, and familiar with regional social media platforms and trending topics.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-driven; strong logical thinking and comprehension skills, with the ability to synthesize information and communicate effectively across teams.
