The Brand Manager – Devialet will be responsible for driving the overall brand and commercial performance of Devialet in Malaysia.
This role requires someone who can balance luxury brand positioning with hands-on sales execution. The candidate must be comfortable leading brand campaigns, coaching retail teams, supporting key customers, managing partnerships, and personally driving B2B sales opportunities.
This is not a purely marketing role. The right candidate must understand that strong brand execution and sales performance need to move together.
What is the role about
1. Brand Management & Marketing Execution
- Own Devialet's brand presence in Malaysia across retail, digital, events, partnerships, and PR. Lead campaign planning, content direction, marketing execution, and performance review, while ensuring every customer touchpoint reflects Devialet's premium positioning.
2. Retail Experience & Sales Conversion
- Lead the customer experience at the Pavilion KL flagship store, setting the standard for product demonstrations, consultative selling, and closing. Train and coach the retail team to improve walk-in conversion, average transaction value, customer follow-up, and overall sales performance.
3. B2B Pipeline Development & Sales
- Proactively identify, develop, and close commercial opportunities across luxury residential, hospitality, corporate, and automotive segments. Own a personal B2B sales target and maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities at all times.
4. Key Account & Specifier Relations
- Manage relationships with interior designers, architects, developers, property professionals, and other key specifiers. Build long-term referral pipelines and coordinate closely with the wider corporate sales team to convert opportunities into revenue.
5. Performance Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Prepare monthly brand and sales performance reports for the Managing Director. Track KPIs across retail, dealer, and B2B channels, while providing actionable competitor insights and market intelligence to support annual planning, campaign decisions, and budget allocation.
Are you the one
- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in brand management, sales management, premium retail, luxury retail, consumer electronics, audio, lifestyle products, property-related sales, or other relevant fields.
- Proven ability to drive sales performance, not just manage brand image.
- Experience managing retail teams, customer-facing sales teams, dealers, channel partners, key accounts, or business development pipelines.
- Strong understanding of premium and luxury customer behaviour.
- Comfortable with consultative selling, product demonstrations, customer follow-up, and closing high-value sales.
- Able to plan and execute campaigns, launches, events, activations, and partnership initiatives.
- Confident in dealing with VIP customers, corporate clients, developers, designers, architects, property professionals, and brand partners.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially sharp, hands-on, and comfortable being accountable for sales targets.
- Good sense of branding, retail execution, visual presentation, customer experience, and premium lifestyle positioning.
- Passion for music, audio, design, luxury lifestyle, or technology is an advantage.
