We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Brand Manager to lead and manage the marketing and business development of our perfume brands portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, driving sales and profitability, and ensuring the brand's positioning aligns with Kens Apothecary's vision. This role requires a balance of creativity, analytical skills, and hands-on execution to enhance brand awareness, optimize sales performance, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Category Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the assigned perfume brands portfolio to drive brand awareness, sales growth, and market share.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of brands, from launch to sustained growth, ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Work closely with principals and brand partners to align local strategies with global brand positioning and initiatives.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
Marketing & Campaign Execution:
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans, including product launches, promotions, activations, and reanimation strategies.
- Plan and oversee the creation of advertising materials, displays, in-store visuals, and digital assets to support marketing efforts.
- Drive brand storytelling and consumer engagement across various channels, including in-store activations, digital marketing, PR, and social media.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to enhance the online presence of perfume brands through compelling content and campaigns.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights.
Retail & Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to ensure seamless execution and alignment with sales objectives.
- Work closely with the sales team to drive sell-in and sell-through strategies, optimizing product placement, pricing, and promotions.
- Build strong relationships with key retail partners to negotiate trade terms and secure high-visibility opportunities.
- Create sales-ready tools and training materials to empower retail teams with product knowledge and brand storytelling.
- Lead below-the-line (BTL) activations, including events, sampling activities, and promotions to drive consumer engagement.
Financial & Budget Management:
- Own and manage the A&P (Advertising & Promotion) budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum return on investment.
- Forecast sales and stock demand in collaboration with the demand planning team to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Track and analyze sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder & Agency Management:
- Liaise with external agencies (creative, digital, PR) to develop impactful and locally relevant brand communication.
- Maintain strong relationships with principals, distributors, and internal teams to drive brand growth.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, retail, finance, and supply chain, to align brand objectives.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in brand management, preferably within the luxury, beauty, fragrance, or FMCG industries.
- Strong understanding of brand positioning, marketing strategies, and consumer insights.
- Experience in managing retail activations, trade marketing, and promotional campaigns.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with digital marketing tools and analytics is a plus.
