Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive Brand & Product Marketing Assistant Manager to drive brand positioning and execute go-to-market strategies for assigned product categories. This role focuses on campaign execution, cross-functional collaboration, and performance optimization to strengthen brand presence and maximize marketing impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a brand custodian to elevate and safeguard brand imagery and brand equity of ASUS and its sub-brands across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of assigned product categories or campaigns, including GTM strategy and performance optimization.
  • Manage and monitor marketing budgets, ensuring efficient and effective allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment with product management, marketing & retail teams, both locally and at HQ, to execute marketing activities aligned with product strategies and GTM plans.
  • Conduct product and market analysis—including audience profiling, opportunity sizing, and competitor benchmarking—and translate insights into actionable strategies to improve ROI and marketing effectiveness.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the development and localization of content marketing assets to ensure relevance and brand consistency.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance to derive insights and optimize future marketing initiatives.
  • Undertake any other marketing-related GTM or responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communications, business, or equivalent field is preferred.
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in brand or product marketing.
  • Good understanding of, and interest in, the latest trends in retail, digital, social media, and e-commerce marketing.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of brand management and go-to-market strategies, with exposure to marketing fund planning and management.
  • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn, with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong critical and creative thinking skills, with openness to new ideas and a results-driven mindset.
  • Good project coordination, multitasking, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for IT, AI, and PC technologies/innovations (laptops, PCs, desktops, accessories, etc.), with an interest in the PC industry and market, will be an added advantage.
