Job Description

We are seeking a creative and strategicBranding Leadto drive the editorial direction, digital storytelling, and brand growth for a leading women-focused media platform. You will lead content strategy across multiple platforms, shaping impactful narratives aroundwomen's empowerment, leadership, lifestyle, and success stories, while managing editorial teams and collaborating with commercial stakeholders to expand audience reach and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead editorial direction and content planning acrossweb, social media, and video platforms.
  • Develop compelling storytelling focused onwomen's empowerment, achievements, and lifestyle content.
  • Manage editors, writers, producers, and content creators to ensure high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams oncontent monetisation and branded campaigns.
  • Curate and validate profiles of leaders, entrepreneurs, celebrities, and changemakers.
  • Maintain strong editorial standards, tone, and brand positioning.
  • Implementdata-driven strategiesusing analytics to grow audience engagement.
  • Lead special projects includingevents, awards, interviews, and digital series.
  • Build partnerships with media, brands, influencers, and community organisations.
  • Strengthen community engagement across digital and on-ground platforms.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree inJournalism, Mass Communication, Media, Marketing, or related field.
  • 510 years of experience in editorial leadership, preferably in media, publishing, or advertising environments.
  • Strong experience incontent strategy, storytelling, and team management.
  • Excellent command ofBahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Experience working withpublic figures, brands, and community stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding ofdigital trends, social media, video content, SEO, and analytics.
  • Creative, confident, and capable of leading and inspiring content teams.
