We are seeking a creative and strategicBranding Leadto drive editorial direction, food storytelling, and digital growth for Malaysia's leadingfood and recipes lifestyle brand. They will lead high-impact content, video formats, and community engagement initiatives that inspire home cooks while strengthening the brand's influence acrossdigital platforms, events, and commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead content strategy, direction, and publishing plans forrecipes, culinary tips, food culture, and kitchen lifestyle.
- Ensure recipe accuracy, food presentation quality, brand voice, and audience engagement.
- Manage editors, video/food producers, social media teams, and culinary contributors.
- Collaborate with Brand Solutions and Commerce teams to developrevenue-driven food content.
- Oversee content approvals, maintain quality standards, monitor food trends, costing, and kitchen ethics.
- Developvideo-first content, including cooking tutorials, food reviews, short-form demos, and series.
- Build partnerships with chefs, home cooks, culinary experts, and kitchen brands.
- Use analytics, SEO, and audience insights to scale engagement and discoverability.
- Lead food-related activations, events, product tie-ins, community cook-offs, and brand showcases.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree inMass Communication, Media, Culinary Arts, Marketing, or related field.
- 510 years of experiencein content leadership, food media, culinary storytelling, or lifestyle publishing.
- Passion for food culture with strongaccuracy in writing, curation, and presentationstandards.
- Strong command ofBahasa Malaysia and English; experience in recipe and content writing.
- Knowledge of food costing, hygiene, cooking methods, and Malaysian culinary landscape.
- Proficient in digital platforms, video formats, SEO, and audience growth strategies.
- Leadership ability to guide cross-functional creative and production teams.
