We are seeking a strategic and creativeBranding Leadto drive the editorial direction, content strategy, and digital growth for a leading parenting media platform. They will lead high-impact storytelling that supports and inspires young families, while ensuring content accuracy, empathy, and strong brand positioning acrossweb, social media, and video platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead editorial strategy and content planning acrossdigital platforms (web, social, video).
- Ensure content accuracy, empathy, and alignment withparenting values and healthcare standards.
- Manage and mentor editors, writers, and content creators.
- Collaborate with commercial and product teams to drivecontent monetisation initiatives.
- Oversee content approvals, language quality, fact-checking, and brand tone.
- Validate expert contributions (medical, education, child development, etc.).
- DriveSEO, analytics, and platform optimisationto grow engagement and reach.
- Handle sensitive topics and leadcrisis communicationwhen required.
- Build partnerships with influencers, experts, and parenting communities.
- Lead special projects such ascampaigns, web series, events, and content IP development.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree inMedia, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- 510 years of experience in editorial/content leadership, preferably in parenting, lifestyle, healthcare, or women-focused content.
- Strong experience incontent strategy, storytelling, and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent command ofBahasa Malaysia and English.
- Experience managing creative teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to handlesensitive topics responsibly(parenting, child safety, health, well-being).
- Strong understanding ofdigital platforms, SEO, analytics, and video content.
