Benchmark Broadcast Systems (S) Pte. Ltd. is a technology partner and consultant for media and broadcast companies throughout Asia. The company provides on-site engineering services and system integration for clients in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Malaysia, the Middle East, Mongolia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Benchmark also provides comprehensive enterprise-wide solutions, application support, and customer training, with technical teams based in Chennai, New Delhi, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.

Role Description:

We are looking for Broadcast engineer, who can be a fresh grad or having 1 year of experience, to join our growing team.

The engineer will be Reporting to the Senior Team leaders of the Technical Operations with whom they will work closely to chart out the support and project functions that results in driving our solution capabilities to assist day to day support and implementation of projects on global scale.

The candidate should have the passion & belief in technology solutions as a key force to drive growth in an organization.

Responsibilities:

1. The prime responsibility of the Broadcast support engineer will be to support complex broadcast systems including, Baseband, IP network, Video compression, transmission, radio systems and monitoring and management systems.

2. Work as a team with start-up mentality to support multiple global customers.

3. Should have the ability to cross functional between different offices.

4. The Candidate will be working within time-sensitive environments for live broadcasts and time critical applications, the engineer should quickly troubleshoot and diagnose issues on the systems presented to him/her (L1/L2)

5. Perform UAT and Follow process before a delivering a project, as well as solving any problems that arise once the Project has been implemented and supported.

6. Should be capable to have customer facing capability to communicate with third parties, such as the equipment vendors, customer representatives in order to Troubleshoot, Support and resolve technical issues.

7. Perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes,

8. Act as a point of contact for multiple incidents and projects and report to a team leader on weekly/daily/project basis.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computers/Electronics/Communication or similar.
  2. Fresh grad or any relevant experience in Broadcast technology is preferred.
  3. Ability to support customers and client facing roles working onsite and offsite to solve issues/updates and bugs.
  4. Outstanding documentation and communication skills both written as well as verbal in English.
  5. 30-40% in country and overseas travel expected with Valid Passport.
  6. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills.
