About the Role
We are looking for an BA Service Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical secondary systems in data center and industrial power projects. The role involves hands-on site support, preventive maintenance, technical reporting, and customer training.

Work Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m - 5:45 p.m (2 hours lunch break)
Job Type: full-time
Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site installation, commissioning, and system integration of electrical secondary equipment, including protection relays and power monitoring devices
- Assist in troubleshooting and fault rectification, and prepare fault reports in English
- Perform preventive maintenance works, including protection relay testing, automatic transfer system testing, and monitoring system inspections
- Prepare commissioning reports, as-built drawings, and operation & maintenance manuals
- Conduct basic operation training for overseas customers and end users
- Maintain technical communication with internal R&D and project teams, and provide feedback on site issues and system performance
- Support daily operations and maintenance activities for data center power systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power Systems, or related disciplines
- 1–3 years of experience in electrical secondary systems, power automation, or site commissioning works
- Fresh graduates with strong technical foundations are welcome to apply
- Candidates with experience in data centers, substations, or factory power distribution projects will have an advantage
- Able to read and interpret electrical secondary schematics and terminal diagrams
- Basic understanding of protection relays and communication protocols
- Good troubleshooting and hands-on technical skills
- Fluent in English (working language); fluent in Mandarin to communicate seamlessly with direct reports in China, and liaise and interact with Chinese speaking clients and customers.
- Experience in data centers, substations, or factory power distribution projects will have an advantage
