Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements, functional specs, user stories, workflows and process maps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements, define scope, propose business cases, and support end-to-end delivery.
- Act as a translator between business and IT to align solutions with business objectives.
- Analyse business processes and data to identify improvement opportunities and enforce business rules.
- Produce BA artefacts (BRD, FSD, interface specs, test scenarios, traceability matrix). Support regulatory and compliance adherence in all project deliveries.
- Manage stakeholder communications and ensure successful change adoption.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- 46 years of business analysis experience in BFSI (preferably in lending, core banking, payments, or digital banking).
- Strong understanding of banking products, operations, and systems.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modelling, user stories, and functional documentation.
- Familiarity with SDLC/Agile methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Malaysian banking regulatory environment and risk frameworks preferred.
Desirable / Plus Points
Certification (IIBA CCBA/CBAP) or equivalent.
Experience with core banking systems, LOS, or digital platforms.
Knowledge of data analytics tools (SQL, Power BI/Tableau).
Exposure to Islamic banking and regional transformation projects.
