Business Analyst (Automation)

*POSITION: Business Analyst*

To support our continued growth in Malaysia, XTS Tech is seeking high calibre Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts with strong experience in Automation services.

In this role, you will work closely with clients, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, support technology and business transformation initiatives, and deliver high quality consulting outcomes. You will be expected to operate confidently in fast paced, regulated environments and contribute both to project delivery and to XTS's broader consulting capabilities.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders

• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories

• Collaborate with business users, project managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle

• Conduct business process analysis and recommend process improvements

• Support system implementation, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities

• Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations

• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions

• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational needs

*Requirements*

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst

• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written)

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

*Preferred Qualifications*

• Experience in the Smart Manufacturing, Factory/Warehouse Automation, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial IoT is highly preferred

• Experience working across technology enabled transformation initiatives in regulated industries is an added advantage

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality

*Working Environment*

- Collaboration: Frequent interaction with sales, project, solution and engineering teams.

- Travel: This role requires heavy travel to customer sites for meetings and commissioning support.
