The Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a key initiative within the banking sector, working onsite in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, playing a critical part in shaping project scope, gathering requirements, and ensuring successful delivery through the testing lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Review Business Cases to define high-level requirements, project scope, and specifications

• Conduct workshops to identify and confirm user requirements

• Assess gaps between software capabilities and user requirements, and identify practical resolutions

• Develop and review User Specification Documents

• Translate business requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and User Acceptance Testing

• Support testers to ensure all business needs and functionality requirements are met

• Provide ongoing support during the warranty period to ensure business needs continue to be met

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 7-9 years of relevant work experience in banking applications, preferably within private banking systems

• Avaloq Certified Professional status is an added advantage

• Knowledge and experience in Private Banking products is an added advantage

• Strong technical, analytical, design, and estimation skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively across teams
