We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in gathering requirements, bridging the gap between business and technical teams, and ensuring that solutions meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to document, and validate business requirements
- Create BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and User Stories
- Perform requirement analysis, identify process gaps, and propose improvement solutions
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure alignment of deliverables
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios, test cases, and validating results
- Maintain traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are addressed
- Analyze and interpret data using Excel, SQL, or other reporting tools to support decision-making
- Assist in change management and ensure smooth adoption of new processes/systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects
- Strong knowledge of requirement gathering techniques (interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, surveys)
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and Visio (or similar diagramming tools)
- Basic SQL skills for data validation and analysis
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Experience in [Domain e.g., Banking, Insurance]
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, or reporting systems
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA, or Scrum Master (advantage)
