Description
- Support financial analysis activities, including cost reduction initiatives, operational performance reviews, capital expenditure justification, cost-benefit analysis, and product costing.
- Possess strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, including Standard Costing and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Manage the full set of accounts and prepare financial and management reports, annual budgets, monthly forecasts, customer profitability reviews, and cost analyses.
- Oversee and manage the Company's working capital position.
- Review and ensure effective credit control and credit management processes.
- Maintain a well-documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- Drive, lead, and manage system enhancement initiatives and strengthen internal control frameworks.
- Assist in preparing monthly Management and/or Board of Directors presentation materials.
- Develop, train, and coach direct reports through both formal and informal methods.
- Undertake other finance-related initiatives such as stock counts, investment appraisals, and ad hoc assignments as directed by management.
Profile
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing sector is beneficial.
