We are looking for a hands-on BI Lead to own the end-to-end analytics and reporting layer for the business. This role is critical in translating business requirement into trusted, scalable Power BI solutions built on Microsoft Fabric is a must.
Job Responsibilities :
- Daily oversight of overall development to deliver items related to the BI project.
- Translate Finance, other Corporate Functions and operational questions into clear metrics
- Working with the business to understand requirements and deliver the necessary data structures in a project format
- Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI o DAX (advanced) o Data modelling (star schema) o Executive dashboard design
- Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric o Lakehouse / Warehouse concepts o Silver Gold data transformations for reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with team members to support various activities related to data engineering, data architecture and data Visualizations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to: o BI Analysts (dashboard usability, storytelling, DAX best practices) o BI / Data Engineers (data modelling, performance, reporting-ready design)
- Review and recommend enhancements and optimizations to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability of BI solutions.
- Establish and maintain documentation standards for datasets, metrics, models, and reporting processes.
- Oversee daily BI support and incident management processes, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Ensure reports are o Accurate, auditable, and trusted o Insight-driven (not just data dumps) o Executive-friendly (clear narratives, trends, variances)
- Put structure and governance in place to ensure long-term success of the BI platform, including: Standards for development and deployment o Reusable datasets and metrics o Performance and quality controls
- Evaluate and recommend BI, analytics, and data tools available in the market that fit organisational needs and budget constraints
Requirements :
- 710 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or any related field
- Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts and controls
- Comfortable operating in structured, audit-aware environments
- Experience in healthcare or a related industry is a plus
- Proven experience delivering Finance and other Corporate Functions focused reporting for senior stakeholders
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and transformation
