What you'll do:
As a Business Analyst Microsoft Business Central, you will immerse yourself in understanding the unique commercial needs of diverse business units across the APAC region. Your day-to-day activities will involve the following:
- Engaging with business stakeholders throughout the APAC region to understand their objectives, identify pain points and uncover process gaps that can be addressed through digital solutions.
- Analysing end-to-end commercial workflows within Microsoft Business Central and its connected applications, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.
- Designing and documenting both current-state and future-state processes, identifying areas for optimisation, standardisation and automation to enhance overall business performance.
- Leading requirements gathering sessions by developing user stories and functional specifications that clearly articulate business needs for technical teams.
- Serving as the domain expert for Microsoft Business Central across the region, configuring functionalities and supporting enhancements aligned with established templates.
- Ensuring data quality by overseeing master data governance practices and preparing robust reporting frameworks for informed decision-making.
- Collaborating closely with global teams, local key users, and implementation partners to ensure smooth rollouts of new features and effective localisation for each market.
- Identifying automation opportunities using Microsoft Business Central capabilities as well as low-code/no-code tools such as Power Automate, driving workflow optimisation across departments.
- Co-creating innovative digital initiatives aimed at improving sales productivity, customer engagement, and marketing effectiveness through technology-driven approaches.
- Developing user acceptance testing plans, conduct comprehensive user training sessions, create clear documentation including SOPs and job aids, and act as a bridge between business units and technology teams.
What you bring:
To excel as a Business Analyst Microsoft Business Central, you will require the following:
- 4-6 years of hands-on functional experience with Microsoft Business Central or equivalent mid-market ERP systems i.e. Navision, particularly within commercial environments.
- Excellent communication abilities that allow you to build rapport across both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders while simplifying intricate concepts for broader understanding
- Comprehensive understanding of retail business operations along with customer-focused initiatives that drive value for both internal teams and end-users.
- Proficiency in utilising digital tools such as Power Platform (including Power Automate), BI dashboards (such as Power BI), integration flows, and automation technologies to streamline processes.
- Familiarity with applied AI concepts even at a beginner level and a genuine interest in experimenting with AI-driven enhancements for improved business outcomes.
- Demonstrated analytical mindset capable of translating complex business needs into practical digital solutions that are easy for stakeholders to adopt.
