Business Analyst – Basel III Project

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a Basel III regulatory project. The role will focus on data analysis, requirement gathering, and ensuring accurate data sourcing into the Basel data mart.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand end-to-end data flow from source systems to data mart
• Perform data mapping, validation, and gap analysis
• Work with large datasets to support Basel III calculations
• Document business requirements, data definitions, and process flows
• Support UAT activities including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, IT, and vendors
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience in banking or financial services
• Exposure to Basel III, regulatory reporting, or risk management
• Strong SQL and SAS skills
• Experience with data lineage, ETL processes, and data marts
• Understanding of banking products (loans, deposits, derivatives, FX)
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Experience handling large datasets
