The ServiceNow Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and designing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Their role involves working closely with stakeholders, including business users and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, identify process inefficiencies, and propose solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to gather business and technical requirements, document them, and ensure alignment between business needs and ServiceNow capabilities.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for automation and optimization using ServiceNow.
- Design and configure ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, Asset Management, and other ITSM processes based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators and developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the implementation aligns with best practices and platform capabilities.
- Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and other documentation to guide development and implementation activities.
- Assist in testing and quality assurance activities, including creating and executing test scripts, identifying defects, and ensuring the solution meets business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, including troubleshooting issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing enhancements and bug fixes.
Are you a MATCH- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and frameworks, such as ITIL.
- Extensive knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including core modules and features, administration, and customization capabilities.
- Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, process mapping, and creating functional specifications.
- Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and reports.
