Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Consultant to support our company's ongoing reforms and transformation by providing insight-driven guidance based on data analysis. You will serve as a key ally to the organization during this period of change, contributing to meaningful improvements. The ideal candidate will be an effective written and verbal communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Collect information about the industry in which our Company operates through various methods, such as interviews, surveys, market data, best practices and reviewing reports.
- Analyse and interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems and comprehend the causes.
- Formulate recommendations and solutions, considering Company's capabilities, limitations through providing concise report to Management team periodically.
- Present justifiable findings, solutions and recommendations to Management.
- Develop a detailed plan / roadmap whether finance-oriented, sales-oriented, operation-oriented etc. - to drive small changes and gradual improvements and subsequently assist the respective Department Head in implementing the roadmap.
- Monitor the result of the implementation plan and to refine the recommendations, if necessary.
- Provide guidance for any issues / problem that comes along the way.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Management (or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
- The candidate should be highly organized and possess in-depth knowledge of the payment gateway, telecommunications, and fintech industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong in communications skills as the incumbent need to be able to maneuver difficult and sensitive information so that it won't be regarded as bias / unfavourable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Power Query)
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or Management Consulting certifications are an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in mergers and acquisitions will have an advantage.
