Position reports to: Head of BCM
Job Overview:
The Manager, Business Continuity Management (BCM) is responsible for strengthening TIME dotCom's organizational resilience through the effective implementation of its Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). The role focuses on ensuring preparedness, timely recovery, and continuity of critical operations in alignment with ISO 22301, NCII (National Critical Information Infrastructure) guidelines, and regulatory requirements (MCMC, NACSA/NC4). The ideal candidate brings approximately 810 years of experience in business continuity, crisis management, or operational resiliencepreferably within telecommunications, technology, or financial servicesand holds a recognized BCM certification such as MBCI, CBCP, CRMP, or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer.
Business Continuity Management
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's BCMS aligned with ISO 22301, NCII, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct and regularly update Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Risk Assessments across business units, critical systems, and third-party dependencies.
- Develop, test, and refine Crisis Management, Incident Response, and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
- Coordinate periodic simulations, tabletop exercises, and industry-wide drills to validate readiness.
- Collaborate with Technology, Operations, and Customer-facing teams to ensure robust recovery strategies and service availability commitments.
- Monitor and report on BCM readiness levels, test results, and improvement actions to senior management and the Board Risk Committee.
- Drive continuous improvement in BCM processes, documentation, and awareness across the organization.
Crisis & Incident Management
- Serve as a key coordinator during crises or major disruptions, ensuring efficient communication and escalation within the Crisis Management Team (CMT).
- Maintain and periodically review the Crisis Management Plan, including response protocols, decision flows, and contact hierarchies.
- Support senior management in post-incident reviews and after-action reporting.
- Ensure effective linkage between Incident Response, IT Disaster Recovery, and BCM processes for holistic organizational resilience.
Governance, Audit & Awareness
- Ensure compliance with internal governance policies and external regulatory requirements related to BCM.
- Prepare BCM-related reports and dashboards for Risk Committees, regulators, and management.
- Conduct regular training, workshops, and awareness sessions to strengthen the continuity culture across departments.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators, and customers during BCM assessments or certification reviews.
Contract & Customer Engagement
Review and advise on Business Continuityrelated contractual clauses, ensuring commitments, RTO/RPO/MTD expectations, and BCM obligations are realistic, compliant, and aligned with TIME's capabilities and client requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, IT, or related field (Master's degree an advantage).
- Approximately 810 years of experience in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, or related disciplines.
- Professional certifications preferred: MBCI, CBCP, CRMP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of ISO 22301, ISO 27001, NCII/NACSA guidelines, and local regulatory requirements (MCMC, NC4).
- Proven experience leading BIAs, DR exercises, crisis simulations, and BCM clause reviews for enterprise clients.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage across all organizational levels.
