Job Description

Work Location: Malaysia (Permanent posting)

Report to: General Manager

Job Profile: This role is primarily responsible for project implementation and delivery, meanwhile taking charge of front-end business consultation and client relationship maintenance. The incumbent will oversee the end-to-end business delivery for the Malaysia region.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Overall Regional Delivery Management
  2. Take charge of the full-lifecycle delivery management of software engineering projects in Malaysia, including requirement alignment, solution implementation, progress monitoring and quality control. Coordinate internal resources across development, testing and product teams, and resolve unexpected issues arising during project execution. Ensure all projects are delivered on schedule, with guaranteed quality and within budget, and meet relevant delivery KPIs.
  3. Business Presentation & Pre-sales Consultation Support
  4. Support the company's overseas business expansion by conducting client liaison, as well as product and solution presentations for local clients in Malaysia. Based on client requirements, deliver delivery plans, implementation roadmaps and feasible consulting suggestions. Dig into clients potential demands and sort out their business pain points. Collaborate with local Malaysia teams and domestic teams to optimize localized products and service solutions, drive the conversion of business opportunities and fuel regional business growth.
  5. Local Team & Resource Management
  6. Establish, manage and empower the local delivery team in Malaysia, and oversee the allocation and administration of local cooperative resources. Formulate team work objectives and performance appraisal standards, and lead the team to accomplish annual targets for project delivery and client operation. Be thoroughly familiar with local workplace norms, business environment, cooperation models and regulatory policies in Malaysia. Mitigate potential risks in local delivery, business cooperation and employment management, so as to ensure the stable operation of regional business.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Educational Background & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in project delivery, customer success and overseas project management within the IT software industry. Full-time working experience in software companies is mandatory, with solid knowledge of the full workflow of software project implementation, delivery and operation & maintenance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience engaging in local work, project delivery or client operation & maintenance in Malaysia, with in-depth understanding of the local business environment, workplace rules, cooperation models and industry ecosystem.

2. Core Competencies

  • Possess solid professional knowledge of IT software business. Capable of independently delivering product briefings, conducting requirement research, organizing solution frameworks and providing basic pre-sales consultation, as well as developing practical solutions that match client demands.
  • Demonstrate outstanding capabilities in client communication, business negotiation and problem-solving. Experienced in engaging with enterprise-level clients, able to handle complex customer complaints and project disputes independently, and maintain the company's brand reputation.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English, able to participate in overseas meetings, communicate with clients, read and write technical documents, and conduct business negotiations with no language barriers. Proficiency in Malay is preferred.
