Job Description

AL Maritime is a business unit within GM&T (Global Markets & Technologies). The activity is articulated around four main businesses: Global Helium, Global Rare Gases, Offshore Energies and Maritime Cryogenic Supply. It is a very international environment, managing multiple locations worldwide.

As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in
  • CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.

    The Business Developer drives expansion by nurturing existing Air Liquide Affiliate relationships and acquiring new global customers for cryogenic gas solutions. You will be focused on diverse molecules and varying supply needs, the role crafts and executes sales strategies to align with MCS growth objectives.

    How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

    Expand customer portfolio and geographic reach by identifying potential clients and delivering compelling presentations on MCS offerings.
    Effectively communicate product features and benefits, addressing customer inquiries and concerns to facilitate contract negotiation and achieve sales targets.
    Cultivate positive relationships with customers, addressing gas logistics needs and ISO rental and maintenance requests while identifying upselling opportunities.
    Ensure customer satisfaction through the deployment of digital tools and regular reviews, contributing to Maritime Cryosupply's transformation.
    Capture new market segments by supplying new molecules such as H2 and biomethane, broadening our product offering and market penetration.

    Are you a MATCH

    Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
    At least 1- 2 years of experience in sales or commercial environments.
    Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
    Proficient in sales, business development, and marketing, with a strong ability to identify customer needs and sales opportunities, and to successfully close deals.
    Deep understanding of market players and dynamics, particularly in the APAC region.
    Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders and across different cultures.
    Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, capable of presenting and interpreting data effectively.
    Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
