Timedoor Academy is a leading coding and AI education platform dedicated to nurturing future-ready students. We empower children and teens with programming, computational thinking, and artificial intelligence skills through structured, project-based learning.
We are currently looking for a Business Development Assistant to support our school outreach and activation programs. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or early-career candidates with a solid foundation in sales & marketing who are passionate about technology and education. You will support school partnerships, coordinate workshops, and assist in executing activation programs.
You will deliver hands-on coding and AI workshops for students aged 517, ranging from block-based programming to beginner/intermediate Python and AI fundamentals. Training, curriculum, and teaching materials will be fully provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and contacting potential school partners
- Support outreach campaigns by visiting schools
- Coordinate workshop scheduling and activation programs
- Conduct teaching & presentation on school workshop
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and partnership documents
- Follow up on leads and maintain CRM/database updates
- Support company's other event such as Expo/Competition
Qualifications
- This position is open to Malaysian candidates.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Confident communication & negotiation skills
- Comfortable with presentation and public speaking
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Experience in school outreach, event coordination, or sales is a plus
- Willing to travel across Malaysia
- Responsible, confident, and able to manage classroom dynamics
Nice to Have
- Basic understanding of AI tools
- Familiar with Scratch or block-based coding
- Experience conducting workshops or enrichment programs
- Familiarity with beginner AI tools, automation projects, or simple data projects
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus
