Role Overview
As a Business Development Consultant, you will be the driving force behind expanding our market presence within the Digital Export business unit. This role is focused on high-impact sales activities, identifying strategic growth opportunities, and cultivating long-term partnerships with business owners. You will act as a consultant to help clients navigate digital transformation through our suite of solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities by engaging and securing potential high-value clients.
- Consultative Sales: Present, advise, and propose tailored digital marketing solutions to business owners to meet their specific growth objectives.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with business owners to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Target Achievement: Execute personal sales strategies and programs to consistently meet assigned monthly sales and collection targets.
- Pipeline Management: Proactively manage the sales cycle from lead generation (cold calling and pitching) to negotiation and closing.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all client account information and relevant data are accurately keyed into the CRM in accordance with organizational policy.
- Financial Accountability: Responsible for payment collection and liaising with internal departments to ensure seamless after-sales service.
Key Requirements
- Experience: At least 1 year(s) of working experience in sales or business development. Experience in digital media or digital marketing fields is a significant advantage.
- Education: Minimum of STPM/A-Level/Pre-U or Diploma in Marketing, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Mandatory fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese to effectively communicate with a diverse range of business owners.
