Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to grow sales and partnerships for Smartboard and hardware products. This role involves working with government bodies, schools, universities, and industry clients across Malaysia.
Key Duties
- Find and develop new business with government agencies, ministries, schools, colleges, and universities.
- Promote Smartboard and hardware products through demonstrations, presentations, and proposals.
- Build good relationships with decision-makers, procurement officers, and business partners.
- Work closely with technical, product, and marketing teams to meet customer needs.
- Handle the full sales process, from finding leads to closing deals, including tenders and negotiations.
- Keep track of market trends, competitors, and government digital education programs.
- Attend and represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and public-sector events.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in IT hardware, education technology, or government projects.
- Basic knowledge of government tenders and procurement processes.
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Willing to travel for meetings, events, and exhibitions.
