Role Description
We are looking for a hands-on Business Development Executive to drive the growth of Bloom. In this dynamic role, you won't just be sitting behind a desk, you will be the face of our brand in pharmacies and the driving force behind our offline expos. This is a hybrid role for a multi-tasker. One day you are restocking shelves at a key pharmacy account, and the next you are setting up a booth at a wellness expo. We need a Go-Getter who takes full ownership of their territory and events.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Account Servicing & Sales (B2B)
- Seek New Opportunities: Identify and open new accounts with independent pharmacies, retail chains, and beauty outlets to expand market reach.
- Account Management: Visit existing outlets regularly to maintain strong relationships with pharmacists and store managers.
- Stock & Merchandising: Manage restock requests, ensure shelves are fully stocked, and maintain excellent product display standards.
Event Execution & Operations
- Run the Show: Execute offline events, roadshows, and expos to ensure smooth operations.
- Hands-On Logistics: Handle the physical setup and dismantling of event booths (must be willing to get hands dirty!).
- Sales Performance: Actively sell during events and push the team to meet daily sales targets.
Promoter Team Management
- Hiring & Rostering: Source, interview, and schedule part-time promoters for events.
- Training: Conduct product knowledge training to ensure promoters are confident experts on all aspects.
- Supervision: Monitor promoter attendance and performance on-ground to ensure high energy and professionalism.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years in Business Development, Sales, or Trade Marketing (FMCG/Health & Beauty experience preferred).
- Event Ready: Experience in running roadshows/events is highly desirable. Must be physically capable and willing to handle booth setup and dismantling.
- Leadership Potential: Experience supervising part-timers or promoters is a big plus.
- Skills: Strong communication skills for training staff and negotiating with retailers.
- Flexibility: Must be willing to work weekends or public holidays during event periods.
- Transport: Possess own transport and willing to travel for site visits and account servicing.
