We are hiring an early-career, high-potential Business Development Representative in Malaysia to support expansion into new U.S. markets for a fast-growing restaurant technology company.
The organization develops AI-enabled solutions that help small brick-and-mortar restaurants streamline operations, reduce costs, and strengthen direct customer relationships through integrated ordering, delivery, payment, and POS systems. The company is profitable, valued at approximately $450M, and has achieved 5x revenue growth over the past three years.
Location: United States (New Market Expansion / Field Sales)
Mobility Requirement: Must be able to relocate to the United States for 9 months
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, in-person outreach, pitching, and closing new restaurant partners
- Launch and develop new territories by mapping restaurant clusters and conducting daily walk-ins
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with restaurant owners and understand their operational challenges
- Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline, including consistent follow-ups and accurate CRM documentation
- Achieve defined ramp targets, including closing 8 deals within the first three months and maintaining 34 closed deals per month thereafter
- Provide on-the-ground market feedback to improve sales messaging and go-to-market execution
- Support new customers through early onboarding and ensure a smooth transition to Client Success
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong communication skills in both Mandarin and English
- 03 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles
- Confident in conducting face-to-face outreach and engaging business owners directly
- Self-driven, independent, and comfortable operating in new markets
- Demonstrated ownership mindset and results orientation
Preferred but not required:
- Experience working with small merchants, F&B or hospitality businesses
- Background in door-to-door sales, merchant acquisition, or product activations
