Job Description

The Business Development Executive is responsible for executing sales and business development strategies. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, generating leads, and supporting our sales and partnership teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-driven individual with strong communication and networking skills. This is a strategic role that sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and product. You'll play a key part in expanding our reach into new markets, industries, and customer segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients, generate leads, and convert them into business opportunities. Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for senior BD or sales team.
  • Sales Execution: Present and promote Go Hub Capital's transportation IT solutions to prospective clients.
  • Client Relationship Management & Pipeline Support: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records. Maintain relationships with existing clients and explore upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare sales pitches, presentations, and proposals to secure new business. Compile research reports and briefings to support BD and strategic decision-making. Identify new verticals or niches for product-market fit exploration.
  • Market Research: Gather insights on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Event & Campaign Participation: Support the BD team in planning and executing events, roadshows, or webinars.
  • Collaboration with BD Team: Work alongside the BD Manager and other team members to achieve collective targets.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report sales performance, pipeline status, and key business metrics.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Preferably 2-3 years of experience in sales or business development. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with transportation IT solutions or enterprise software is an advantage.
