About The Role
We are looking for an energetic and results-driven
Business Development Executive to join our team at RHB Insurance Berhad. In this role, you will support the Branch Manager in driving business profitability, managing key portfolios, and implementing effective marketing and recruitment strategies. You will play a pivotal role in expanding market share, strengthening agency networks, and ensuring compliance with both internal and regulatory standards.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support the Branch Manager in formulating and implementing marketing strategies to maximise business potential through the Agency channel
- Manage Agency, RHB Group, and Direct business portfolios to enhance productivity and profitability
- Collaborate with underwriters in the acceptance of new risks in line with Head Office guidelines
- Conduct surveys and risk management programs for Banca Retail clients
- Identify new market opportunities and develop structured marketing strategies
- Expand market share and strengthen the agency force
- Enhance the Agency Recruitment Programme and organise relationship-building activities
- Segment agency portfolios to optimise performance and drive efficiency
- Review product portfolios to ensure competitiveness and relevance
- Monitor credit control policies and ensure adherence to company and regulatory guidelines
What We're Looking For
- Relevant professional qualification in insurance and/or a degree in any discipline
- Experience in the insurance industry with strong analytical and industry knowledge
- Proven track record in achieving or exceeding profitability and sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Independent, motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
