Role Description

The Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and developing relationships with potential clients across cash and security services. Day-to-day tasks include preparing proposals and presentations, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs. The role also involves managing and growing assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and tracking performance against sales targets and KPIs. The Business Development Executive will contribute to sales planning, attend client meetings and industry events, and maintain accurate records in CRM or sales tracking systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert prospects into customers.
  • Business and Account Management capabilities to manage pipelines, nurture client relationships, and support long-term partnerships.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and confident client-facing interaction.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or related commercial roles, preferably in security, logistics, financial services, or B2B solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, with strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity software, and basic data analysis for reporting.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Willingness to travel locally for client visits and meetings as required.
