Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to expand our market presence in Malaysia. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, including lead generation, client consultation, proposal preparation, strategic pitching, deal closing, and project handover coordination.

You will work closely with clients from Corporate, Government (GLC), and NGO sectors to understand their digital business needs and recommend suitable solutions such as Web Development, eCommerce, UI/UX, and digital platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Malaysia, targeting Corporate, Government (GLC), and NGO sectors.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by management.
  • Conduct professional online and on-site client meetings, consultations, and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including lead status, meeting notes, pipeline updates, and sales reporting.
  • Support sales inquiries and regional business activities for Singapore and Hong Kong markets.
  • Understand client requirements and propose suitable digital and technical solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documentation.
  • Manage commercial relationships and follow up on project payment milestones.
  • Ensure smooth project handover to internal Project Teams after deal closure.

Job Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the IT, Digital, or Website Agency industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (written and spoken).
  • Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese to support Hong Kong and Singapore regional sales activities.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot or similar platforms.
  • Strong sales-driven mindset with the ability to follow through from lead generation to payment collection.
  • Comfortable discussing web technologies, CMS, frameworks, API integrations, and hosting/server concepts with clients.
  • Able to travel for on-site client meetings within Klang Valley.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
