We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive who is able to convince new (Enterprise) Merchants in Malaysia to join GLYPay and facilitate our growth and expansion in the Malaysia market through the acquisition of new (Enterprise) Merchants. You will work like an entrepreneur and at the same time be part of an international team of highly talented and motivated people. The ideal candidate is a born networker who thrives in a fast-paced, diverse and entrepreneurial environment.

About the job:


As our business development Executive, you will be responsible for signing partnership agreements between GLYPay and the best in class corporate merchants.

What will you be doing

Understand GLYPay products and services and be able to articulate its functions and benefits to external audiences.
Generate new business, negotiate deals and close contracts for GLYPay, specifically in the Retail sector.
Identify and approach prospective Enterprise customers.
Sell GLYPay Payment Solutions to large global corporations.
Work closely with mid-level/senior executives at interested businesses to successfully negotiate and close deals and help in on-boarding.
Collaborate across different functions to seal the deal.
Partner with technology leaders and solution providers, and work closely with our Support, Implementation and Account Management teams.
Business Development Executives at GLYPay are responsible for driving B2B sales
Be the local market expert: gather Merchants feedback, monitor competitor activity and provide recommendations for improvements to management
Ability to conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in person meetings and sell GLYPay to Enterprise customer specifically Retail sector in Malaysia
Exceed sales targets & performance based goals while working independently
At the same time, you will become part of our international network and high skilled team
You have the chance to gain an inside perspective of our fast growing business by being responsible for the business from day 1
Manage a portfolio of Merchants accounts and exceed goals for account retention, development, and maintenance

Who are we looking for

You have successfully completed a Diploma or Bachelors degree
Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply or have at least 1 year of work experience in consulting,e-commerce or start ups
Strong management skills: manage and motivate your team in the field.
Youre a proven deal closer and strong communicator.
You have prior experience in a Sales role selling complex Enterprise software, technical infrastructure or financial service within the Retail industry.
You have a relevant business network in Malaysia.
Youre informal yet professional.
You possess the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment.
Flexibility, Deals do not always come on 9-to-5 schedules
Outgoing and confident in their appearance
Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and under pressure
You are very proactive and could lead independent projects
Excellent English skills complete your profile
Knowledge of Mandarin or Cantonese language is an added advantage
You are an out-of-the box thinker and want to always challenge the status quo
