Securio is a technology company focused on anti-scam, brand protection, and impersonation risk mitigation for financial institutions, licensed money lenders, and digital platforms. Our AI-powered platform (SKYNET) detects fake agents, phishing websites, scam ads, and impersonation across social media, messaging apps, and the open web—helping institutions protect customers, reduce fraud exposure, and maintain regulatory trust.
We are looking for a Business Development Intern to support our B2B growth efforts, specifically targeting banks, digital banks, licensed money lenders (KPKT), fintechs, and payment platforms. This role is ideal for candidates interested in fintech, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and enterprise sales.You will work closely with the founders and senior leadership to identify prospects, initiate outreach, and support deal progression.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Lead Generation & Outreach
- Research and identify potential B2B clients (banks, digital lenders, licensed money lenders, fintechs).
- Build and maintain a structured prospect list (CRM / spreadsheets).
- Conduct cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and phone follow-ups.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business needs and readiness.
Sales & Partnership Support
- Assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and tailored solution briefs.
- Support scheduling of meetings, demos, and follow-up discussions.
- Track pipeline status, responses, and engagement metrics.
- Assist in partnership discussions with associations, regulators, and industry players.
Market & Industry Research
- Monitor scam trends, impersonation cases, and regulatory updates relevant to financial institutions.
- Identify competitor offerings and positioning in the fraud prevention space.
- Provide insights to refine Securio's value proposition for different client segments.
Founder & Growth Support
- Work directly with the founding team on strategic outreach initiatives.
- Support pilot program onboarding and client communication.
- Assist in preparing reports and updates for potential enterprise clients.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Strong communication skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin are a plus).
- Comfortable speaking with professionals and decision-makers.
- Interest in fintech, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, or B2B SaaS.
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools is an advantage.
