About the Role
- We are looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to support our growth and partnerships. This role offers hands-on exposure to lead generation, client engagement, and sales operations. You will work closely with the founding and sales team to learn the full business development cycle.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective clients, partners, and market opportunities
- Assist in building and nurturing relationships with potential and existing clients
- Support the sales pipeline by qualifying leads and maintaining CRM records
- Assist with outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, events)
- Conduct basic market and competitor research
- Track and report simple metrics (leads, responses, meetings booked)
- Prepare basic pitch decks, proposals, and follow-up materials
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma / Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields)
- Strong communication skills (English; Bahasa Malaysia)
- Comfortable speaking to new people and doing outreach
- Willing to learn sales, partnerships, and negotiation skills
- Basic computer skills (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and coachable
