About the Job
To lead the growth and retention of Employee Benefits, GEC, and MRTA business through Agency and OCBC channels by driving distribution strategy, governance, and stakeholder collaboration to achieve sustainable commercial outcomes.
- Drive growth of Employee Benefits (EB) and GEC business through the Agency Channel.
- Conduct training to enhance competency of new and existing agents on EB products and processes.
- Support agents on enquiries, case referrals, and joint sales activities.
- Prepare quotations and assess quotations submitted by Business Development Executives (BDEs).
- Recruit, onboard, and support new agents to actively sell Employee Benefits schemes.
- Assist in organizing and supporting agency-related events and engagement activities.
- Manage and retain renewal portfolio for existing Employee Benefits business.
- Assess Renewal Notices and prepare re-quotations for benefit upgrades or downgrades.
- Prepare and present Claim Utilization Reports (CUR) to support renewal discussions.
- Coordinate renewal confirmation with agents, clients, and Sales Support teams.
- Support growth of Employee Benefits business via OCBC channel for SME segment.
- Manage and support MRTA business sourced through OCBC channel in collaboration with SAL Department.
- Ensure compliance with Credit Control Procedures (CCP).
We are looking for people who
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in life insurance, group insurance, or employee benefits with exposure to agency channels.
- Proven track record in driving business growth, portfolio retention, and distribution performance at a senior leadership level.
- Strong knowledge of Employee Benefits, Group Employee Coverage (GEC), and mortgagerelated insurance products such as MRTA.
- Experience in managing senior stakeholders including agency leaders, bank partners, and internal teams.
- Good understanding of insurance regulatory, compliance, and credit control requirements.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
