Business Development Manager (APAC)

Responsibilities:

Drive sales growth and acquire new clients across the banking, fintech, and public sector

markets in Southeast Asia.

Manage the full B2B sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closure.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers within financial

institutions and government organizations.

Manage a complex sales pipeline involving long sales cycles and multiple stakeholder groups.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Develop and execute market-entry and expansion strategies across the APAC region.

Collaborate closely with product, delivery, and operations teams in a cross-functional

environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience in sales or business development within banking, fintech, the public

sector, or related industries.

Demonstrated track record of winning new business and/or expanding existing client

accounts.

Experience engaging with C-level executives and senior decision-makers in financial

institutions or government organizations.

Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes and/or public procurement procedures.

Ability to navigate long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Fluent English (mandatory).

Willingness to travel regularly across Southeast Asia.

Nice to Have:

Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

An established network within the banking and/or public sector ecosystem in APAC, or a

proven ability to build one quickly.

Strategic thinking with a focus on sustainable business growth in emerging markets.

Ability to work independently in a dynamic international environment.

Experience representing a company at external meetings, industry events, and conferences.
