The Business Development Manager - Asia Pacific will be a key contributor to our business development efforts and driving regional growth.
In this role, you will join a successful and growing business to support delivery of strategies and techniques to achieve sales targets, map potential customers and generate sales leads, opportunities and revenue for the organisation in line with strategic sales plan and objectives.

Reporting line:
You will be part of the Commercial team directly accountable to the VP of Business Development AP and Regional Director AP, but also working in conjunction with the Commercial Lead and other functional leads to deliver the underlying objectives of the regional office and overall business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the execution of the business development strategy growing the various service lines including Training, HSEQ, Rig Intake, Real-Time Monitoring (RTM), etc.
- Ownership of the local sales process from prospect generation through to conversion and delivery, in conjunction with other key stakeholders in the team.
- Key client account development and management.
- An initial focus on the local AP market with remit expansion through role development.
- Travel within the region for client meetings, exhibitions and conferences, etc.

- Demonstrable profile of working in a similar upstream sales/BD role with an ability to identify, nurture and develop new business.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, to think on their feet and take initiative.
- Strong team spirit and ability to demonstrate professional people skills. The individual must be both personable and professional.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a good listener. Ability to articulate and translate client requirements into tailored solutions.
- Strong work ethic and organisational skills ability to work and engage multiple stakeholders (internal/external) to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to be flexible and support the needs of the business as the business grows and the role evolves.
- Proficiency in all primary MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with a CRM system: sales pipeline management and ownership.
