Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities within the healthcare (physiotherapy, rehabilitation centers, hospitals) and wellness sectors (gyms, trainers, sports teams).
  • Drive market expansion by building strategic partnerships, distribution networks, and long-term business relationships.
  • Develop and execute business development plans aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and unmet customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Lead commercial discussions, including negotiations, partnership agreements, and deal structuring.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and operations) to support go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
  • Identify opportunities for new product applications, market segments, and revenue streams.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and business meetings to strengthen brand presence and partnerships.
  • Support revenue growth through opportunity conversion, while focusing on long-term value creation rather than transactional sales.
  • Prepare business development reports, pipeline updates, and market insights for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience (fresh graduates may be considered for junior positions).
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques, analytical instruments, and quality standards.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, AAS, Spectrophotometer, or PCR is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements within the relevant industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant laboratory software (where applicable).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
