Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Business Development Manager based in Johor or KL, Malaysia, offering the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategies to achieve revenue targets. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, creating proposals, delivering presentations, and collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to tailor solutions to client needs. The role requires a blend of strategic planning, sales expertise, and an understanding of the data center industry.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Chinese (Reading and Speaking)
• Business Development and Sales expertise, including the ability to identify leads, negotiate contracts, and achieve revenue goals.
• Strong Client Relationship Management and Networking skills to foster long-term partnerships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Market Research and Competitive Analysis to proactively identify opportunities and trends in the data center sector.
• Excellent Communication and Presentation skills for building trust and delivering impactful and tailored solutions to clients.
• An understanding of Data Center Solutions and related areas such as Data Center Operations, commissioning, Uptime Standards, and LEED Certification is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a self-driven attitude and adaptability.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
